Juliana Ramirez completed her BA in the Department of Government and International Relations at Universidad Externado de Colombia and completed two semester-programs in Peace and Conflict Resolution and U.S. Foreign Policy at American University in Washington D.C. She is currently a graduate student in the department of Political Science at the University of Calgary and holds a one-year MA/CGS award from SSHRC. Her research focuses on the impact civil society that works for peace in Colombia has had on the transformation of the armed conflict.
